ABOUT ME

 

    James Bruce has been part of the entertainment industry for many years with Spotlight Records, Access Entertainment Group, GigsPlus and James Paul Publishing Music. 

   In 1989 Jim Bruce decided to start a booking agency for a local band. In 1995 Jim founded what is now known as Spotlight Records to record the acts he was promoting. Also in 1995 I founded the James Paul Music Publishing Company (BMI). In 2008 he and Annette Clarke created what is now Access Entertainment Group to help other entertainers pursue a career in music. The firm and its founder Jim Bruce have demonstrated expertise in booking, recordings, career development, consultation, marketing, publicity, media production and talent management. We book national, regional and local acts in and around Ohio for charities, special events, fairs, and festivals. We pride ourselves in being the event planner for charities and special events uniting the artist with the cause.

     In 2014 James Paul Publishing decided to expand and add James Paul Publishing Books when Bruce was approached by several other publishing companies and authors. Jim picked up author Pam Egbert with her Children's book and then Samantha Sheridan with her novel.  Bruce is talking to several other authors at this time about publication of their books.
